According to Bruce Spizer's, The Beatles' Story On Capitol Records, Part Two: The Albums, this is a 1st Issue, as evidenced by this information: Cover stats: CAP 2228.SC1 RIAA #6 (in lower right corner of back cover); Label stats: CAP 2228.SR1A.

Condition
See photos above. The cardboard jacket is in good condition for age with some wear around the edges, some handling/storage creases, a few scratches, and stains. The printed Capitol paper inner sleeve features other albums by the Beatles and others. It has bottom fold split. The album is clean and shiny with quite a few lighter scuff-scratches. Plays very well with some needle noise but no skips or repeats. No names or other markings. Stored in and ships from clean, smoke-free, pet-free home.
