This great sounding copy dates from mid 1969 and is the final Yellow Parlophone label variant before the bland EMI boxed versions were introduced

Visually:
Graded against reflected daylight which will show any significant imperfections - (there will always be wispy handling/bag removal lines under a search light)
EX
The surfaces are in fantastic condition - beautiful, deep gloss sheen - there are light lines on both sides but they are generally very fine - this disc has been handled with great care

Audio:

Clearly, only played on the correct 'stereo' equipment, this disc delivers a near flawless performance - the run ins are near silent, which invariably leads to top audio through all the tracks - it would be difficult to find a better sounding original disc - the gentle 'Till There Was You' plays wonderfully with no pops or crackle

Labels:

In lovely condition - although there is white around each spindle hole I think this is from manufacture and not wear - there are just a handful of extremely light trails each side, as shown in the photos above - initials inscribed in the £ logo Even though this is the final label variant (Gramophone rims / no 'SIUK') of many previous yellow parlophones, this one still shows the incorrect writing credit as Wilson instead of Willson

Cover:
VG- Quite a rare version with a small stereo front indicator - most carry the corrected side 2 track 3 by this time but this one still shows the incorrect 'Gotta' - it is completely intact but tired looking and showing its age (like me) - best to look at the photos for condition

Original, company advertising 'patents applied for' - nice clean example - just the beginning of disc penetration on the lower seam

All records are thoroughly cleaned and I will of course, continue with the surreal requirement of separating the disc from the cover, even though they have been together now for over 50 years and have left a lasting impression :-)
