The BEATLES "YELLOW SUBMARINE" LP
1st Pressing (1/13/1969) - Stereo SW-153
Near Mint - All Original Shrinkwrap completely intact! Capitol LOGO on Side 2This Yellow Submarine LP is the best one I have ever seen that wasn't still sealed. Years ago I Purchased a whole box of records from an advertising artist who had done some work from Capitol records and this is from that batch, many of the records he had were never opened or played and had been stored in his closet since the 60's. The Vinyl looks shiny and un-touched, the plain white paper inner sleeve has yellowed a bit from age. The cover has no marks whatsoever, the corners are not bumped scuffed or bent or anything, the jacket is like new. There is about a half inch spot on the BACK jacket edge, where you put the record in, that the slick looks like it was never glued down properly to the cardboard. I would assume this is how it came from the factory and I tried to photograph it but it is impossible to see, if the record was still sealed I would never have noticed it. This is the ONLY flaw that I can find (I didn't notice it until just now when I did a second inspection to make sure I hadn't missed anything) and it was either shipped this way to begin with or slowly separated over time.
