Description

No one has, and no one will have as much impact on the music world as the lads from Liverpool - The Beatles! From their time at The Cavern, to the Ed Sullivan Show, to the rooftop concert at Apple headquarters, and then into their solo careers, few people have not been impacted by John, Paul, George and Ringo.
Up for sale are three SLEEVES of rare and iconic early Beatle EP's. Please note - the records ARE NOT included - just the sleeves.
VeeJay Records VJEP 1-903: "Souvenir of Their Visit to America" is a cardboard sleeve that originally held the EP that included "Misery", "Taste of Honey", "Ask Me Why" and "Anna". This nice heavy cardboard sleeve is in very good condition, it does has a slight tear on one edge as shown in the photo close up. Other than this one little rip, it is in fantastic shape.
Capitol Records R-5365: "4 by 4" included the songs "Honey Don't", "I'm A Loser", "Mr. Moonlight", and "Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby". This sleeve is also a nice heavy cardboard and has NO VISIBLE blemishes - other than what 50 years will do to cardboard - but still in excellent condition.
Last but not least is a paper sleeve put out by Capitol Records 5327 simply titled "The Beatles" and featured "I Feel Fine" and "She's A Woman". Easily the most delicate of the three, this paper sleeve is probably in the best condition of the three. Aside from one small pinhole at the very top of the sleeve (see close up in pictures) this sleeve is in remarkably wonderful condition.
Included also in this auction is a Fantastic Scoop 16 magazine issue from 1965. I don't know if there was a glossy cover on this at one time or not, but if there was, the cover is missing. This 70 page issue allegedly is the "Complete Story from Birth to Now" and has a lot of interesting articles and even more interesting photos of the Fab Four from their early days to the British Invasion. Articles include meeting the girlfriends and wives of the boys, a "Beatles Recording Fact Sheet" that lists who wrote what song and who sung it.  You can see by my photos there are some really cool photos from the early years that even include Pete Best.
Be advised - this magazine issue has had some clippings taken from it - primarily individual pictures. There are many, MANY photos in the issues - of ALL the members of the band, but I want you to know that on some pages there is a photo missing that has been clipped out. If you look at the photo of the first page, you will see the pictures of Ringo, Paul, and John from top to bottom, the picture of George SHOULD be on the bottom right corner, but it has been clipped out. There are approximately 10 -12 of these little clippings gone from the issue through the magazine. In the very middle of the magazine is three pages of full color photos. One of Ringo, One of John, and a full size photo of all 4 boys dressed in their London best. All other pictures in the issue are black and white.
You get all 4 Beatles items in this lot for one price. Will ship for FREE to continental United States only. Sold AS IS - I have made clear all the condition issues - no returns.
