In this auction:

• “4-BY THE BEATLES” Extended Play (EP) by The Beatles

• This is Capitol Records R-5365.

• It was issued February 1, 1965.

• This EP contains 4 songs. Side 1: “HONEY DON’T” & “I’M A LOSER I”. Side 2: “MR MOONLIGHT” & “EVERYBODY’S TRYING TO BE MY BABY”.

• This EP was issued in a hard (cardboard) cover entitled “4-BY THE BEATLES”.

• The EP format (7-inch record with 2 songs on each side) for Beatles’ records was not common at all in the U.S. In fact, only 3 Beatles’ EPs were commercially released in the U.S. in the 1960s: 2 were issued by Capitol Records (including the one in this auction) and another was issued by Vee Jay Records.

• The COVER is in VERY NICE NEAR MINT (NM) to NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION!!! There is PRACTICALLY NO WEAR at all as you can see in the images. There is a very small push on the top left corner and VERY, VERY SLIGHT wear on the bottom two corners. There are NO SEAM SPLITS, a very often-occurring blemish found on Capitol EPs with cardboard covers.

• The VINYL is in NEAR MINT (NM) to NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) CONDITION with just a few VERY SMALL and VERY LIGHT/SLIGHT hairlines.

It’s an UNCOMMON BEATLES CAPITOL EP IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION that deserves a place in someone’s vinyl collection!

This can be YOUR FINAL UPGRADE if you’re looking to replace a copy that you already have!!!
