Description
Here is a very interesting collection of nine original vinyl albums by The Beatles.
The condition of these albums is very mixed from mint, to very worn with lots of surface marks that will certainly be heard on playing. In some of the more extreme cases there may be skips and jumps. I have no way of listening to these records so do not know which play OK and which do not.
This lot consists of;
The White Album, no serial number, stereo. The poster is present. Grubby gatefold sleeve and surface marks on the vinyl.
Beatles for Sale, gatefold sleeve, mono pressing, yellow and black Parlophone label with no MT/KT tax code. gatefold sleeve generally pretty good with only light wear, vinyl has surface marks.
A Hard Day's Night, mono pressing, sleeve very good condition, vinyl has surface marks, not too heavy.
Please Please Me, first mono pressing, matrix numbers XEX 421-1N/422-2N. Sleeve is good with lights edge wear, vinyl has surface marks.
Let It Be, new vinyl, green splatter vinyl (please see pictures). Un-played, cover and vinyl mint condition.
Rubber Soul, mono pressing, sleeve in very good condition with only very light wear, vinyl has plenty of surface marks with one or two deeper marks.
With The Beatles, mono pressing, sleeve has some surface wear, vinyl has plenty of surface marks with some deeper marks on side two.
Help, mono pressing, sleeve has some wear, particularly along the leading edges, vinyl is very marked and this will certainly be heard when playing.
The Beatles/1962-1966, the red compilation album. The gatefolds sleeve is in excellent condition with only the lightest of marks. The red inners sleeves with printed lyrics are also excellent. The vinyl is very good with only the lightest surface marks apart from side three with heavy marks in one section over the first four tracks, looks like something has badly scuffed this here. Will be heard on playback.
So there we have it, a very interesting collection of nine Beatles vinyl albums. I have tried to describe the condition, particularly of the vinyl, the best I can but I have no way of playing these so cannot tell what they sound like.
I have started the bidding at 99p so they can find there own market value.
Postage is increased due to this being heavy, nine albums, two of them doubles, so 11 discs with all sleeves is 3 kg.
