Description

AHDN a very 1st pressing from 1964 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N. Stampers 3-GHD/5-RGA. Tax code -MT. Please note the labels exhibit the chubby font found only on the very first pressings. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover.
Vinyl (Ex) In very nice condition and whilst the label might suggest heavy use - this copy is actually very well preserved. Under close inspection there are a number of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. There's a touch of light interference in a couple of isolated moments and that was really all we detected. A really nice playing example of a bona fide 1st press.
Cover (Vg+) Has been well cared for with a front suffering very little creasing at all. There's a touch of ageing apparent slightly more noticeable on the rear. Light edge wear and a signature on the rear. The spine is intact and overall the cover still retains great rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing and a slight bottom seam split which has been neatly taped up..
