Description
AHDN a very 1st pressing from 1964 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the labels exhibit the chubby font found ony on the very first pressings. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the Emitex inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex) In really nice condition despite having seen a moderate amount use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. This LP plays back way way better than the labels would suggest. Intros and inbetweens are very quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. We didn't detect more than a couple of crackles in a couple of spots [literally]. An absolutely superb little player - I was totally knocked out by the performance.
Cover (Ex) Has been well cared for with a front suffering very little creasing at all. There's very little ageing on the rear too - which so often afflicts these covers. Edge wear is minimal too and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains great rigidity and remains a terrific example.
Inner (Vg+) No splits...bit of ageing.
