VINYL is NEAR MINT / VG+
Super-clean, high gloss Vinyl is NEAR MINT on SIDE ONE with no marks. This is the HARRY T. MOSS cut side.
SIDE TWO has one short (1cm) scratch, lightly audible in beginning of “Sun King”; otherwise this side looks and plays as clean as Side One - but graded VG+ due to the single mark. PLAY TESTED throughout. Bright clean labels both sides.

COVER is EX
Fully Laminated cover is extremely clean front and back; vibrant and unfaded, with only some short, very mild laminate edge creases and faint ring rub. No writing, soil or other marks. All edges straight, all corners sharp; seams and spine completely intact with no wear or splits. 100% legible spine titles are crisp and crystal clear.

RARE issue with the HARRY T. MOSS re-cut on Side 1
(YEX 749-4) Side 1 was cut by Harry T. Moss on Oct 31st 1975. (verified source: EMI master tape box notes).
(YEX 750-2U) Side 2 was cut by Apple engineer Malcolm Davies 1971.

Harry T. Moss is widely recognized and respected as the foremost mastering engineer for superior cutting and re-mastering of the original UK Beatles records.

Malcolm Davies was a mastering and lacquer cutting engineer at EMI Studios / APPLE Studios from 1958 through 1975. He worked directly with The Beatles and then with McCartney’s solo work. He was intimately familiar with their recording processes; very adept at achieving the ultimate sound they wanted on record.

2 of the most respected British mastering and lacquer cutting engineers of the era, both especially noted for their superior sound quality mastering and remastering of UK Beatles Pressings.

ABBEY ROAD’s mixes particularly, were a deeply woven tapestry of combined, layered tracks that originated from many separately recorded (solo, harmony and background) vocal tracks, diverse instrumental tracks (including multiple Mellotron tracks), meticulously meshed and overlaid - demanding the most exacting and intuitive mastering that The Beatles had ever required.

The remastering here, by these 2 most skilled engineers, further brought out the luminous textures, harmonics and feel that finally opened out and achieved the separation, clarity, sonic subtleties and wide soundstage dynamics to the fullest potential that ABBEY ROAD inherently possessed.

The results are unmistakable: a truly transcendent listening experience and the penultimate aural soundscape that this masterpiece was originally conceived to be. _______________________________________________________________

VERY SCARCE and Highly Sought version, for the superb HTM and Malcolm Davies remastering.
This pressing sounds amazing and even with the single scratch (on the Non-HTM side), blows away any modern version.

Vinyl inside additional anti-static lined inner sleeve to protect the Vinyl and the original inner.
Album kept in a protective, poly outer-sleeve.
