Description
I play all my records from beginning to end prior to auction on my Garrard 401 record player using a Shure V15 cartridge.
Here I have a copy of the ' The Beatles ' 1969 release ' Abbey Road'.
The record is a first issue UK stereo pressing on the green Apple labels.
Cat no PCS 7088 The matrix side 1: YEX 749-2 stampers 3 URP side 2: YEX 750-1 stampers 10 ADA
Grading :
I've played both sides of the record. Visually the record is glossy and under light with the odd wispy mark The record produces a very bright sound for the most part with some occasional cackle on side 2. Grade VG. The record labels does not display the credit for the song 'Her Majesty'
The fully laminated cover is in EX condition. The cover is still lovely and glossy with perfect spine and just very minor age marks to the front. There's minimal creasing to the laminate and no writing or tears. This is the early version with the mis-alligned apple logo on the rear.
If your the winning bidder could you please wait for invoice since the final price may mean I need to charge added postage. If your bidding from outside the UK I will only post via Track and signed methods.
I'm selling lots more lps over the coming months from artists like ; The Animals , Allman Brothers , Pink Floyd , Creedence Clearwater Revival , Blues albums , Kinks , Jimi Hendrix , The Beatles , Cream , The Rolling Stones, The Who , The Yardbirds , The Small Faces , Van Morrison , The Grateful Dead , Jefferson Airplane , Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention , Fleetwood Mac , Led Zeppelin , Deep Purple , Black Sabbath , Oasis , Nirvana , Blur , Beach Boys etc plus lots of rare one-off lps.
