Description

An original 1st Uk press of AR from '69. Matrix 2/1. Stampers 1AGM/1-GLT. No Her Majesty on the labels indicating absolute 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original laminated cover with ALIGNED apple logo. WOW .....1st pressing...nice condition. Near master heavy EMI pressing. Q-Q-Q-uality. Black Apple inner. So 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Labels imply relatively little use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or noticeably problematic. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Excellent level of playback with slight deviation in one spot on side 1. A  super player and plays pretty much fully clean with minimal sign of use...Much better preserved than the average copy that surfaces. it's unusual to find AR in this kind of condition. All I could detect was 7 or so very minor ticks and a few brief crackles late side 1..[She's So heavy]...Nothing noticeable really. That was literally it. It is acing it for 97% of the recording. Even those super fussy tracks side 2 are playing truly superb. It has only seen light use - that is the only way to have survived in this kind of condition over this period of time.. Highly recommended - and consistently a very high level performer. 
Cover (Ex) A really smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 50 years use. But this one is exhibiting excellent colour retention and is in really great condition. Clean flat surfaces with hardly any creasing. Minimal edge wear and nice pointy corners.. VERY VERY tidy looking all over. The spine is 99% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
