THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
Pressed from the very first 'mothers', this exceptional and early UK 1st pressing of their 1969 LP is on the dark green Apple Record label: PCS 7088
Unlike later pressings, the side 2 label omits 'Her Majesty' from its track listing.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 1/MD & 1/GDA
Vinyl weight: 141g
Housed in a fully laminated, with the Apple symbol aligned beneath the rear track-listing.
Complete with original plain white 'Patent No....' inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & unworn with just a handful of light, well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Factory-fresh, deep-gloss playing surfaces which are 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few light wispy marks and a sparkling rainbow shine visible beneath halogen light. There are certainly no scratches of any other significant visual blemishes. Both playing surfaces are clean but bear some non-feelable scuffs and hairlines together with some wispy inner-sleeve removal marks directly beneath halogen light.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Exceptionally rich and clear audio throughout as one would expect of such an early pressing. Played carefully just a few times on high-end equipment, there is no trace of any groove/playwear, crackle, ticks, clicks or anything else to spoil the enjoyment of this wonderful sounding pressing which will not disappoint.
Cover: NEAR MINT
This superb example is perfectly clean and retains a sparkling unscratched, unworn high-gloss laminate front and rear. There are no 'thumbnail' wrinkles or heavy creasing anywhere, just a couple of very light wrinkles to the upper and lower edge and one to the spine. All corners are in sharp and unbumped and both opening edges are sharp and clean. Both seams and the fully worded spine are unstressed and unsplit.

Apart from slight age-toning, this is 'as new'.
