Description:
Beatles for Sale is the fourth studio album by The Beatles and marked a departure from the upbeat tone that had characterised the Beatles' previous work, partly due to the band's exhaustion after a series of tours that had established them as a worldwide phenomenon in 1964.
Key Features:
- 1st Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 503-4N; Side 2: XEX 504-3N.
- Labels: Black label with yellow logo and silver print. The Parlophone Co. Ltd printed at the start perimeter print, Recording first published 1964 and Sold in U.K. text. With KT tax code on the label.
- Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. gatefold inside flipback sleeve. Laminated front and back sides. With outline mono on the front.
- Low Mother & Stampers: 1 T / 1 H
- Inner: Original tracing-paper-lined Use Emitex die-cut inner sleeve.
Visual Grade: EXCELLENT PLUS!
The record shows superb deep-gloss playing surfaces with no marks visible in good natural daylight and under direct halogen spotlight only a few short light hairlines can be seen. A fantastic example.
Audio Grade: NEAR MINT!
A fantastic top grade player! Super quiet lead-ins and between tracks leaving only the music to be enjoyed. A superb example of an ultra low press.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT PLUS!
Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. laminated gatefold flipback sleeve with pinched corners in fantastic condition! Super glossy, bright and clean. No ring wear, sharp edges and corners. A very light compression to the bottom left corner. An absolute gem of a copy with the inside looking like it had never been opened.
Inner: EXCELLENT!
Original tracing-paper-lined Use Emitex die-cut inner sleeve is in excellent condition, clean and without splits.
