Description

On offer today, an excellent factory sample 1st pressing of the 1969 UK 7 "single by The Beatles titled: "The Ballad Of John And Yoko / Old Brown Shoe" on the solid centre Apple label. It is in very good plus condition.

Side 1: Track 1: The Ballad Of John And Yoko 
Side 2: Track 1: Old Brown Shoe 

The record comes housed in its original Apple sleeve in very good condition.
Matrix side 1: 7XCE 21306-1U (KT 2 TL ) Matrix side 2: 7XCE 21307-1U (KT 2 LD)
Side 1 condition: Side 1 plays through very well with no jumps or sticks. There is very little background noise throughout and the production quality is strikingly clear. 8.5 / 10.

The surface has an excellent shine with only a few light surface lines but no heavy marks or moderate scratches. The surface is also clean of grease or dirty marks. 8/10.
The label on side 1 with a Factory Sample sticker is excellent with very little wear and no fading to the text or background. There is no evidence of light spider trails or around the center hole. 9/10
Side 2 condition:
Side 2 plays through equally well with some evidence of light background noise but the production sounds awesome. There are absolutely no sticks, no loud pops and no jumps only light background noise throughout. 8.5 / 10
The surface of the record on side 2 is excellent with very few light hairlines, it does not have any heavy rubs or major scratches to the surface. 8/10.
The label on side 2 is also excellent with no fading to the text and no wear to the background. There is no evidence of light spider trails around the centre hole. 9/10
The Apple company sleeve is in very good condition with no splits. There is a bit of light creasing and feathering on the front and rear, bur the print is very good plus with very little fading. 7/10
