Description
This item is from my personal collection, accumulated over a 55-year period. Record and sleeve grading is visual, by me, and is based on Goldmine grading standards. I try to be conservative in my grading.
The Beatles: Ballad of John and Yoko/Old Brown Shoe (Record and Sleeve) Apple 2531
Record is graded VG+, with three light scratches across part of the "Ballad" side (see photo or example). Some fingerprinting along the lead in wax of the "Shoe" side. Otherwise, the record has no obvious blemishes. Sleeve is graded VG+, with some minor wrinkling along the top edge of the back side of the sleeve. Has some minor signs of outer ring wear on the A-side. Same on the B-side, with a blemish on the lower-left part of the sleeve, next to the picture (see photo).
The auction starting bid is set to approximately cover postage and insurance costs. I believe in free markets, so my main interest is in getting this item into the hands of a serious collector. The law of supply and demand will take care of the rest.
