Original 1st US Mono pressing of The Beatles “Beatles VI” album released by Capitol Records on June 15, 1965. This copy was pressed in Scranton, PA at the Capitol Records plant and still remains in a factory sealed condition. The front cover features a color photograph of the band with a Christmas cake which is credited to Fabulous Magazine - Fleetway Publications Ltd. and was taken by Robert Whitaker during the same photo shoot that produced pictures for every season of the year used on the cover of "Beatles' 65". The back cover contains the RIAA “3” plant identifier at the bottom right corner. The 1st variation covers, just like this copy, have back liners that were printed prior to Capitol determining the running order of the songs. The song list appearing inside the box is preceded by the phrase "(See label for correct playing order)" and the word "SELECTION". It’s quite hard to find this Scranton Mono pressing with the first variation cover in a factory sealed condition. It can be stated with high probability that the labels of this copy have the ASCAP credit on the “Words of Love” track, the identifier of the 1st pressing. Through the fully intact shrink wrap of this cover’s mouth, you can see the edge of the olive “Capitol Records New Improved Full Dimensional Stereo sounds better than stereo has ever sounded before" inner sleeve that can be found only on the very early 1st copies of this album. This Mono cover contains a still intact record store price tag affixed with a staple at the left corner on the front. Interestingly enough, the tag reads “Stereo” above the price despite the fact that this is a Mono copy.

Outstanding factory sealed copy in vintage Mint condition. The shrink wrap containing the original breathe holes is fully intact and doesn’t have any split or tears.
