If you want the best version of a Beatles box set, this is the one to get. Japanese mastered and pressed, Japanese releases are simply the best records available anywhere. This box set is in fantastic condition and has very little wear on either the box or the album covers. There are a couple of small wear marks on the outside of the box visible in the photos and the box hinge has a small 2" tear which is typical for these collections. This box set is in the best condition of nearly every one I've seen sold. I would rate the box itself as excellent and the individual covers as near mint. All vinyl is also near mint.
All albums as well as the box have all the proper Japanese inserts, posters, etc and the White Album is numbered with the photos and posters as well.
Most collections were released world wide on EMI but the Japanese set is on Apple and has beautiful Apple labels for each LP. There are a total of 13 LPs and 14 discs included and these are all unplayed or played only once. I purchased this set back in 1980 and it went straight into my collection. You will not be disappointed in the quality of this set.
