1964 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
*EXCELLENT CONDITION**
This beautiful & rare EXCELLENT 1964 1st STEREO pressing is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Parlophone Co..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible around the centre hole of the side 1 label.
Housed in an outer laminated, inner-flipback stereo gatefold cover.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 4/GR & 1/GM
Disc weight: 141g

couple of spindle marks on labels.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both surfaces of this immaculate copy are pristine and appear totally 'as new' in strong daylight with a couple of scuffs
Close and careful inspection directly under my halogen desk lamp reveals nothing but a few barely visible inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines, with minor perceptible traces of wear.
Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs or dishing or warping.

The cover to this LP is in excellent condition. Thankfully this example has been stored away for many years in ideal conditions and as you can see is in excellent condition with only a few signs of wear on edges. Original purchase sticker still intact on rear cover
The fragile front leaf is excellent and retains a sparkling, high-gloss laminate with a couple of small bends with only visible minor bubbling at front edge
There is a tiny bruise to the upper right corner
The rear panel is as glossy as the front with its only significant faults being some laminate lift towards the bottom edge
The inside of the gatefold is as immaculate as it could be. Clean, black and white with no yellowing, writing or missing paper anywhere.
The vunerable centre fold is totally unworn and unsplit at both ends and both flipbacks are pristine clean & white.
The spine is square & fully laminated with some minor wear
All seams are strong, unstressed and unsplit.
Extremely excellent copy of a rare record.

Crisp & clean with no splits, tears or other faults.
