Up for sale is this amazing sounding stereo Lp pressing of “The Beatles’ Greatest” issued in the mid 1970’s in Germany. This is a ‘72’ prefix # pressing, which means it was a later pressing when Germany was cutting the pressings with a new lathe from a new master copy tape from the original stereo analogue master tapes. The record is in near mint condition, being only played a few times on audiophile equipment. I played the record today on my Thornes td 320 turntable & the record sounds awesome. This Lp includes the best sounding true stereo version of ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand’ I have heard in 45 years of collecting The Beatles. Also includes the ‘High-Hat’ version of “All My Loving. The laminated cover is also near mint condition. Thanks Frank
