Up for sale is another HOLY GRAIL ‘Sgt. Pepper’ by The Beatles besides my sealed Nimbus Supercut I sold a few weeks ago. This looking only played a few times on audiophile equipment to record to a reel to reel tape is the RARE 2nd mono pressing vinyl Lp from 1968 when the B.B.C. banned the song ‘A Day In The Life’ from being played because of the strong drug suggestions. On this unbanded pressing there is no mention of the song on the side 2 label even though the track is on the record. Also ‘SOLD IN.U.K.’ is on side 1 label except for the normal ‘SOLD IN U.K.’. I played the record once to record onto a reel tape on my Thornes TD 320 turntable. The “-1 -1” MONO MIX rocks all the way through with Paul’s bass showing the way. John Lennon sure was right was he said “You really have not heard PEPPER until you listen to the mono mix. The laminated gatefold cover is also in near mint condition, still creaking when you open it up. Also included is the original dark green cut out sheet + the original ‘Patent’ white inner sleeve. This HOLY GRAIL ALBUM is featured on my latest YouTube video short on my ‘MR Stickermania’ channel.
