1965 UK first pressing 14-track mono vinyl LP on the black & yellow Parlophone label.

GRADING:

Cover - Very Good Plus

Seams and spine all intact, the spine is clearly readable.

The rear sleeve has a small area removed/damaged towards bottom left.

Slight sleeve entrance wear.

A little creasing from spine/seams.

Rear flipbacks are all intact.

'Patents Pending' on rear flipback.

Original Emitex inner sleeve in excellent condition.

Record - Very Good

KT tax code clearly visible on side 1.

'The Gramohone Co Ltd' perimeter text.

'Sold In The UK' label text.

The matrix numbers are XEX 549-2 & XEX 550-2.

Plenty of marks and scuffs on the vinyl. The album does still play quite nicely. There is some background noise and some occasional crackles but generally quite a playable copy.

Summary

A nice copy of this 1st press mono album. It obviously has some faults as listed above so please bear these in mind before purchasing.

Our grading is based on the system used by Record Collector magazine as described below (We don't sell records with a grading of less than very good).

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
