Description

An original 1st mono press of Help on UK Parlophone. Matrix 2/2 - 1st cut. Please note the earliest 1st pressings should still exhibit the abbreviated 'Lark Mus.' publishing credit. The track title "I Need You" and the asterisk that follows it - it is separated by a space [which is also indicative of 1st issue]. The vinyl comes housed in an original Mono cover with flipbacks. We're including an original poly-lined inner sleeve from the mid-sixties [not the specific one for this release].
Vinyl (Vg+) In very nice condition and plays well despite moderate use. Expect a few marks per side - mostly slight and inconsequential.. the occasional mark might be a bit nearer semi-feelable. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with a couple of deviations. It's not clean enough to hit the top grades. But that being said it's not a bad player at all. By and large clean enough to enjoy. But expect a bit of light static in a couple of tracks per side. The only track where it was a bit elevated was in 'Yesterday'. Expect a bit of crackle in this one and a few ticks. Overall a very nice original copy at a reasonable price.
Cover (Ex-) A bit of a looker...it's so nice to see that iconic image looking so well preserved. Many copies will have aged by this point in time - but this example is looking extremely impressive. There's barely a crease front and back and all flipbacks are intact and secure. There's just a touch of light ageing evident in a couple of spots on the rear. But, in reality, it's looking way better than many copies will do by this point in time. Edge wear is very slight and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact and overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Hardly aged. No splits either.
