Description

A 1st pressing of Help! on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 2/2. Please note the label holds the abbreviated publishing credit 'Lark Mus' - not 'Lark Music' and there's a space before the asterisk on the track 'I Need You' - this is indicative of the very 1st pressing. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape despite having seen a moderate level of use. Under close inspection there are many light marks - nothing troublesome though, or likely to cause major issue. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an Excellent level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. Interference is minor and only occasionally noticeable. All we detected was a touch of static in a couple of spots Act Naturally/Yesterday - and certainly nothing remotely invasive. A nice little player and a 1st press to boot!
Cover (Vg) In nice condition, but is starting to show some ageing now. That iconic cover remains in very nice condition and the rear is starting to exhibit some of the inevitable ageing. Edge wear is light and the text on the spine is still 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
