Description

A 1st pressing of HELP on the UK Parlophone label from 1965. Matrix 1/1. Stampers 2-RT/3-GA. Please note this copy conforms to the very 1st issue. Lark Mus. is abbreviated and the asterisk is found after the track 'I Need You'. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse Stereo cover with flipbacks.
Vinyl (Ex+) In super condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens were pretty much silent and the audio comes across with top level clarity. Stereo copies are particularly hard to find in tip-top condition. On this copy even Yesterday plays very clean - it is as well preserved as any I've seen. Interference is minimal. All we detected was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots [literally]. This is final upgrade territory...
Cover (Vg) In very nice shape and clearly been looked after down the years. Lovely shiny front with a couple of minor creases. The rear is now exhibiting a bit of ageing, but this is quite a common issue. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. PLease note - signature at the top of the rear in the middle. Overall the cover still retains great rigidity and remains a very nice mid-sixties example.
