The Beatles -Help mono vinyl 1965 XEX 549-2 XEX 550-2 as good as it gets...!
Discogs item: discogs.com/release/11010727-The-Beatles-Help Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in.U.K. subject…” text. Capitol print. Tracing-paper-lined inner sleeve. With KT tax code on label side 1.
The * credit indicator for “I Need You” is placed to the right of the song title with a space after I Need You.
In addition, the laqueur numbers (XEX.549 & XEX.550) align with date on both sides.
The space between Sold in the UK, (XEX.549/550) and the date on each label are comparatively evenly spaced
Side 1 titles of “Girl” on track 5 and 6 are not aligned directly above each other.
Side 2 track 7 the credit “Williams” begins on the bottom line. The second line begins with BIEM and “Yesterday” does not begin on its own line. The layout in general is neater with the space being used a little more efficiently. XEX 549-2 XEX 550-2
Condition and details below:
Front cover, rear and spine are near immaculate, just a very small spot near top left front and a little discolouratin on rear -excellent.... use emitex inner has a couple of small side tears and some fading - VG.... Labels , KT side 1, are excellent, some signs of usage very near centre only..... Vinyl has the faintest of hairlines on imnspection, very clean and Excellent grade visually..... Playback is excellent all round - Yesterday sounds awesome, no crackle; some very light noise at start , otherwise NEAR MINT SOUND!!!..... ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS LP IS AN AGED, USED ITEM, AND WILL NOT LOOK OR PLAY LIKE NEW. I always try to give a fair overview of condition and a selection of photos, which give an indication of what you are buying/bidding on.
I always play test and give a fair appraisal of how the LP sounds on my system; this is always a subjective thing, and so may vary on others - If there are any flaws or jumps detected I will mention this and it will be reflected in the price/starting bid; NB: sometimes items may benefit from further cleaning etc.
Postage is as stated, usually, UK, 2nd class signed for and international sales through ebay's GSP.
My gradings are through the recognised Goldmine standard, and as accurate as I can make them (although please bear in mind it is still subjective and mistakes can occur ) :) - please let me know if there are any issues
