-
“INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” LP by The Beatles
-
This is Vee Jay Records VJLP 1062.
-
It was released in February of 1964.
-
This is a MONO (Monaural) Pressing.
-
This is Version 2 of the “INTRODUCING THE BEATLES” LP with the column back cover and includes the cuts “Ask Me Why” and “Please Please Me” that replaced “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You” which were on Version 1 of this LP.
-
The LABELS are BLACK with PERIMETER COLOR BAND and VEE JAY OVAL LOGO.
-
This Version 2 issue with the oval VJ logo is NOT a common version 2 label for this LP. (The version 2 brackets-logo label is much more common.)
-
BOTH COVER and VINYL ARE ABSOLUTELY AUTHENTIC!
-
The cover has George’s shadow.
-
The cover has the spine printing.
-
The labels have “THE BEATLES” printed above the spindle hole.
-
So you can bid with confidence that you are receiving the real deal and not a counterfeit.
-
The COVER is in NICE VG+ CONDITION. The front cover slick has very light wear as you can see in the images. There is a very small “push” on the corn er at the top of the spine. There is some light wear on the corners, and the corner at the top of the spine is just a little bit “bald”. There is very little wear and no flaking on the spine and top and bottom seams. The seams and spine are strong. The rear white slick is quite clean, but it shows some light to moderate aging/”foxing”. There are some small and very light water stains on the rear cover at the bottom edge near the spine and near the opening. There are NO seam splits, NO tears, NO writing, NO flaking and NO ring wear on this cover.
-
The VINYL is in NICE/STRONG VG CONDITION with a number of very light surface hairlines/scuffs but none are “feel-able” and the vinyl has NICE GLOSS.
-
This Vee Jay LP with the BLACK LABEL WITH COLOR BAND and OVAL VJ LOGO is one of the tougher version 2 issues to find. (As I mentioned before, the version 2 brackets-logo label is much more common.)
-
The vinyl comes with its ORIGINAL VEE JAY INNER PAPER SLEEVE that has some original glue stains on one side, a 1 ½ -inch split at bottom center and a 2-inch split on a side edge.
Maybe you need a copy of this LP for your vinyl collection?
