Bought second hand in Japan in 2018. It's hard to grade an item like this - if you read reviews online you should know what sound quality to expect. Pictures will show that the cover is pretty worn. This is a bootleg and it definitely shows - sound is slightly pitched up and very distorted. I would suggest anyone buying this item is doing so for a piece of history, not for a fantastic aural experience.
Kum Back is the first bootleg album by the Beatles, released in January 1970. The album is an early version of what would become Let It Be, sourced from a tape recording of an acetate prepared by the band's engineer, Glyn Johns.
This is the bootleg that was released before the "Let It Be" movie and official album. There are many different versions of this bootleg with different center labels and/or different cover art or stamped "KUM BACK" in various ways.
Notes on all vinyl that I am selling:
- I have looked after all these records and kept them in the best condition possible. They have been kept in a smoke free and pet free home, inside a record box
- Graded to the best of my ability, but as a casual collector I am not an expert. Where listening has shown issues (e.g. crackling or skipping) I will highlight in the description
- Some items may come with download codes - I cannot guarantee these are still available unless specifically mentioned in the description
- Any records that did not come with a plastic lined inner sleeve have been replaced with new ones. If the record had a custom inner sleeve, I have kept that and will dispatch in addition to the plastic lined inner sleeve
- All records have been kept in plastic outer sleeve since purchase, and will be shipped in these
- Any records that were bought new, I will list roughly how many plays they have had. All records played on a Rega P2 with Ortofon Black cartridge. Cleaned with vinyl brush and pickup brush before each play.
