THE BEATLES: 'LET IT BE' - AN ORIGINAL AND **COMPLETE** 1970 UK STEREO APPLE VINYL LP BOX SET, WITH GET BACK BOOK (PXS 1) PCS 7096. The Beatles Let It Be Box Sets are fast becoming very difficult to find in any acceptable condition, most I see are very badly damaged or have reproduction inner trays, this one is a very nice, complete and a 100% original example just as it was issued back in 1970.
A VERY NICE EXAMPLE, ALL COMPONENTS 100% ORIGINAL, TOTALLY COMPLETE WITH **FIRST ISSUE** RED APPLE LOGO SLEEVE, OUTER LAMINATED SLIP-CASE, ORIGINAL INNER TRAY, AND GET BACK BOOK!!

‘LET IT BE’ was the The Beatles FINAL UK Studio Album released on 8th May1970. First issues were released as a De-Luxe vinyl LP and book Set. This Box Set includes it’s original inner trays, and Red Apple Logo Sleeve with the PCS 7096 catalogue number, and the Get Back Book.

Detailed Item Description:
This 1970 original Beatles Let It Be Box Set was Manufactured in the UK., the Apple LP record labels have the PCS 7096 catalogue number printed on both record labels. The PXS1 Catalogue number was never printed on the box set, this was just an EMI stock catalogue number, although I have seen a couple of examples with a PXS 1 sticker attached.
The original 1970 Twelve Track UK Apple ‘Let It Be’ STEREO Vinyl LP on the Dark Green Apple Label, with ‘Apple Records’ label rim, and with ‘An EMI Recording’ and ‘Mfd in the UK’ printed to both record labels.
The record labels, vinyl disc, and the Red Apple Logo sleeve are in Near Mint condition, the record labels show a few light centre spindle lines. The vinyl disc is very glossy and shows only a couple of very light surface hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs. The original Red Apple Logo sleeve is a beautiful example also in Near Mint condition, a very glossy sleeve with only the mildest signs of record storage, and a tiny rub mark to the bottom edge.
The first issue side 1 matrix is: YEX 773-2U and Side 2 YEX 774-2U.
Side 1 stampers: 1 GDD and Side 2: 1 GAT.
The LP comes in it’s original white Made in England Printed Apple Records inner record bag.
The ORIGINAL GET BACK book, laminated to the Front and Reverse is in beautiful almost as new Near Mint condition. Glossy front and back covers, with **No Loose Pages**, and just a couple of small rub marks to the spine edge. This great book is packed with previously unpublished photographs of The Beatles taken by Ethan A Russell from the Get Back Recording Sessions.
The book is stored in it’s original perforated black Card Inner Tray which is in Excellent condition, with no tears or splits, just signs of wear to 2 of the corners (see scan) the Outer Black Card Tray is in undamaged, it is free from tears and shows just light wear and rub marks to the inner flaps and the edges, but nothing major, also in Excellent condition.
All the contents of the Box Set slide into a First Issue Garrod & Lofthouse ‘Patents Pending’ Fully laminated Let it Be Outer slip case, which is in superb Excellent Plus condition, the slip case is very glossy and has no damage, showing just a couple of small laminate pinches, there are no splits, tears or any other damage, this is a very nice Let It Be outer slip case .
Audio Quality:
The album plays well through all 12 tracks, without any skips, clicks or distortion, just some light background crackle.
This UK Issue of The Beatles Let It Be Box Set is in superb condition. Most examples suffer from damage or have replacement inner trays. This box set is becoming increasingly difficult to find in such complete and superb condition recommended.
