The Beatles LP - Abbey Road 1st Press Matrix - YEX 749-2/750-1
This is a first pressing from from September 26,1969. The record has the typical fist press features these being:-

  • Label has An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3” text moved to the left side.
  • Dark green pple label side 1
  • Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p). 
  • The label does not have Her Majesty credit on the side 2. 
  • The labels are quite dark (although the actual shade of green varies greatly among copies)
  • Black inner sleeve with die cut circular opening on one side
  • Fully laminated cover without flaps on the reverse
  • Cover printed by Garrod & Lofthouse


Vinyl - The sound quality on this record is superb, it plays excellently from start to finish. Has been really well looked after. Visually there are slight surface marks when held to the light which do not affect the play in anyway - Excellent
Labels - Both in nice clean condition some slight spindle marks
LP Cover - Laminated LP cover with Garrod & Lofthouse Credits. In very good++ overall condition. Front - Nice and clean with just some slight creases to the laminate. A really good example  Reverse - Nice & clean with just slightest creases. Spine - Is perfectly legible, there is just one slight seem split about 1cm in length, barely noticeable at first glance.
