Description

An original Export copy of LIB on UK Apple from spring 1971. Matrix 2/3. Well worth going for the earlier copies as they were pressed a bit heavier than just a year or two later. The vinyl comes housed in an early Export cover with pinched spine. Look at the rear - down the bottom - No Apple logo...it mentions Parlophone. In Spring 1971 still did not have licencing to sell abroad! We also have an original generic white inner. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. In my experience LIB is an incredibly fussy record - one of the fussiest by the Beatles.  'Let It Be' and 'Winding Road' are hard to find playing clean even on good looking copies. But this copy is delivering a near perfectly clean rendition on these two. Expect nothing more than a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. Highly recommended.
Cover (Vg+) In great order and that aesthetic on the front is still preserved very well. A few stress creases at the edges, but still very smart overall. The rear is looking smart with a couple of minor creases. Only lightest edge wear and nice firm openings. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains verygood rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
