Description
THE BEATLES 'Love Me Do' ____________
Original 1962 issue on BLACK Parlophone label. Catalogue #: R4949 Matrices #s: A-side = 7XCE 17144-1N / B-side = 7XCE 17145-1N. Tax code: MP ZT 1 Stampers: A-side = RH / B-side = RO B-side has MPT lightly embossed on the centre of the label.
I believe this to be a 2nd pressing but not too sure (I'm not an expert). The only other example I can find on the internet, with these matrices, tax codes and stampers is a factory sample BUT this one has no additional label/wording to indicate it as such.
The vinyl is lightly marked from 50 years of moving around in its sleeve but there are no major scratches etc. I have taken a close up of one area of vinyl to show some marks but the photo does make it look a bit worse than it actually is. The label is well-preserved with very little evidence of spindle marks. Supplied in a Parlophone sleeve.
Please view all the photos, prior to bidding, to make sure this is the record you are looking for. Any questions, please ask via Ebay email messaging. Record will be mailed with full tracking and insurance.
