Description

An original 1st of MMT on UK Parlophone EMI. Matrix 1/1. Correct labels with "EMI" in the perimeter text - and this is only found on the 1976 1st press. And remember by 1st press - I mean the1st press in the LP format in the UK. In '67 when these tracks were first released it was issued as two Eps in the UK. In the USA - they went with the LP format. Latterly Parlophone released they were missing a trick as it does stack up well in the LP format - it took them ten years to figure this out! The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold with the booklet still attached in the interior - which is quite unusual. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In really very nice condition and has only seen light use. Excellent lustre. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are  really quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Ok, what's the best thing about this copy apart from being 1st issue...? It plays clean feed!! And that means you are gonna witness these Beatles classics in fine fettle. Remember in '76 the master tapes would still have been in excellent condition and this copy is more than capable of capturing that original Beatles sparkle. You are gonna hear it ALL. Love it.... Little to turn your nose up...A beaut. 
Cover (Ex-) The front looks nice and flat without the usual issues you tend to find. The rear looks good too with minima wear! The iterior is clean with just a touch of light ageing on left panel. But pages are all in good order and have not been heavily thumbed. Slightest edge wear but very smart. The spine is 90% intact and text fully legible. The cover still retains excellent rigidity.
