Description
Magical Mystery Tour is a record by the English rock band the Beatles that was released as a double EP in the United Kingdom and an LP in the United States. It includes the soundtrack to the 1967 television film of the same name. Released: 27 November 1967 (US LP)
The record is in near mint condition showing little signs of play although I've carefully played it myself a number of times since purchasing it 10 years ago or so at my favorite record store in San Jose.
The cover is in excellent condition still in partial shrink but showing some ring wear on the back cover were the shrink wrap is missing. Photo 5 is meant to show that ring wear on the left side of the back cover.
Photo 6 is meant to show this is a first issue cover by prying open the cover a bit to get a photo of "I Am The Walrus", "no you're not" (which is in cursive) .... said little Nicola, is written just below, then John Lennon Paul McCartney are just below that with no extra lines below stating" All side one selections are published by Comet Records Corp, ASCAP" which is stated on all issues after the initial first pressing once it was discovered that BMI was not the publisher of side 1.
This came with this Sgt. Pepper style inner sleeve and is in excellent condition but has a small tear on the top opening area shown in photo 8
