THE BEATLES - 'THE BEATLES No.1'
Featuring 4 tracks from their 'Please, Please Me' LP, this UK 1st pressing dates from initial November 1963 release and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: GEP 8880
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have upper case 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd...' rim texts.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 2 label & in both run-outs.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 764-1N & 7TCE 765-1N
Stamper codes: 2/AP & 1,3/GH
The disc is housed within its original front laminated, bi-flipback 'Buckland Press' printed picture cover.

An immaculate set with no trace of any spindle marks or wear to either centre hole, or elsewhere.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean, deep-gloss playing surfaces where the only visual blemish is a single light fingernail scuff on side 1. Apart from that, is is unmarked in strong daylight with just a few harmless wispy sleeve removal hairlines directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
Always a great sounding EP, this well looked-after copy is no exception. Carefully played on good equipment, the sound on all tracks is clean & unworn with just a touch of background on the run-ins and between tracks but no clicks, pops or any other such distractions.
Cover: NEAR MINT
A 1st class example of this attractive cover featuring an alternate shot from the 'Please, Please Me' cover session. The front panel laminate retains all of its high-gloss finish with just an unavoidable light inner-ring impression but no 'thumbnail's or any other wear. All corners are sharp and unsplit and both opening edges unworn and the rear panel is pristine and completely unblemished. Tough to find a cleaner example.
