Description
The Beatles Original 1966 Butcher Cover, 2nd State STEREO, very good condition. Vinyl is in VG+ condition with near mint labels, very clean, no writing. Album jacket is very clean with no writing, no split seams, one corner is bent, all edges very clean with very little visible wear. There are 6 pieces of Scotch tape on the cover where it appears that several attempts were made at revealing the underlying butcher cover. NO PIECES HAVE BEEN TORN OFF THE COVER.
Ringo's tell-tale v-neck is clearly visible, as is the original butcher cover in the upper right corner where the trunk paste-over doesn't completely hide the underlying original cover. The original inner sleeve is in good condition, one side seam is split about half the length of the side. No tears, no writing, very clean. Record will be shipped in a separate sleeve to preserve the integrity of the original inner sleeve. Entire contents will be placed in a plastic record sleeve for extra protection. This is a very clean (save for the pieces of tape) copy of a 2nd state butcher cover, exactly as described, so bid with confidence. Shipping via USPS Media Mail, will be insured.
