Description

Beatles "Yesterday and Today" 1966 Capitol ST-2-2553-A-13 STEREO unmolested paste over of the "Butcher" cover. The original butcher slick is visible on the lower left side as the paste over did not cover all of the original. Ringo's sweater V shaped bleed-through is easily seen on the right middle side. This cover is 3/16" smaller than the original butcher cover as Capitol trimmed each paste over when processed after recall. The picture sleeve (LP cover) has slight ring wear and minor yellowing with a short seam split (about and inch)on the bottom where the record is inserted. The back is also slightly yellowed overall and discolored in a couple of places but no evidence of liquid ever having come in contact with the cover. (a cover which has been subject to exposure to liquids can be more difficult to peel) The seams are in excellent condition with the <1" split mentioned. There are no bent corners creases folds or holes.This cover is rated VERY GOOD PLUS by the Goldmine record grading method. High resolution pictures which may be downloaded an zoomed are provided. The inner sleeve is original and is VERY GOOD as it has a seam split on the bottom and back from the record and are about 2". The record is an original STEREO disk (although three bands were rechanneled for stereo originally) and is in NEAR MINT condition. Play graded with no abrasions scratches dirt or visible defects. Plays great no skips and minimal audible clicks and pops. Here is a chance to bid on a rare and unmolested cover.
