Description
The original Revolver LP as released in September 1966. This is the Yellow/Black Parlophone label version, PMCO 7009.
This particular version is considered to be the rarest version of the various Revolver releases (being this one, the "Banner" Stereo version (1966), the Orange label version (1969), and the "box style" Parlophone label version (1982).
I have had this record since purchasing it new in 1966, and the cover has been stored in a plastic sleeve all that time. This lp comes in the Wrap Around cover, with the front of the cover being laminated. The quality of the front of the cover is extremely high with no blemishes (the photo does not do it justice; it is WHITE and black). The rear of the cover has a slight blemish at the top, and an imprint of my name which was written on the cover. For a 50 year old cover, it is in excellent condition.
The record has a slight blemish on the 'B' side, where a name label was originally affixed. this gives a slight shading on the area of the RPM letters. The record has no visible signs of surface scratches, and I believe it to be in excellent playing condition (it has been many years since I last played this record!!)
The record will be shipped as a parcel, being wrapped inside 2 stiff boards for added protection.
