This LP is being re-listed due to a non-paying time waster, my apologies to everybody who bid on this LP last time. It's now available again!!
The Beatles PLEASE PLEASE ME stereo PCS 3042
MKT tax coding 1G stamps on side 2!
Parlophone yellow/black labels. Without ‘Sold in UK..’ statement across the centre and with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd…’ rim text.
“Recording First Published’ aligned with 1 and 2 respectively on the left hand side of each label.
MKT faintly embossed on side 2 label.
Both have labels have relatively minor spindle markings.
A few scuffs elsewhere but nothing serious. No writing or sticker damage.
First mother pressings. 1 P and 1 G stamps indicating very early pressing!
Side 1: YEX 94-1 (1 P)
Side 2: YEX 95-1 (1 G)
The vinyl is excellent visually on both sides. Minor surfaces scratches and scuffs.
On playback minor clicks and pops in places, NO SKIPS, plays very good++
Large STEREO on front cover.
Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flipback cover. A slight tear in the front and back, on the edge which has a tiny sellotape repair on the front. Overall excellent (minus), a very clean cover for its age, 50 years plus!
Poly lined EMITEX inner sleeve. Still excellent, no tears, rips or writing.
Overall a very nice and very rare PLEASE PLEASE ME 1963 stereo LP.
