Description
The Beatles "Please Please Me" (PMC 1202) MONO Parlophone/Decca contract pressing from 1963. Matrix: XEX 421-1N/XEX 422-1N. No tax code. No stamper codes. Mother plate number 1,0/1,2. Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated cover. Angus McBean photo credit on front. Vinyl condition (G): vinyl has lots of light hairlines/paperhairlines. Side 1 plays great with no skips or significant surface noise. Both labels look awesome with some very light spindlemarks around the hole. Side 2 has a scratch that goes almost across the vinyl and makes it pop. No jumps but the pops arent very charming. Sleeve condition (VG+): Front sleeve has some light normal corner damage. Upper left hand corner (by the Parlophone logo-box) has a little cut (see scan). Minimal ringwear. No seamsplits. Robust spine with clear lettering. A few lamination creases. Back cover is clean and has only some minimal signs of normal ageing. Lamination dirtline. Lower left hand corner has the following writing: Isabell - From Dion feb 1964. The original inner is also included but the bottom is split so the vinyl is placed in a new inner. Feel free to check out the Starlighthoney store for more AOR, melodic hardrock, metal and pop.
