The Beatles - Please Please Me XEX 421 XEX 422 (UK LP) Mono Early Press VG+
For auction from my own beloved collection is a superb condition early press LP which looks and plays great! Here is some more info;
Early pressing with Parlophone Co Ltd text No Sold In The U.K Label Text. Garrod & Lofthouse Flipback Sleeve and with bold mono text on the front cover - back cover has 'Use Emitex' advert text Cover photo has Angus McBean credit)
Label: Black And Yellow Parlophone. No tears or writing and minimal (if any) spindle wear
Record Catalogue Number: PMC 1202
Stamped on run out vinyl (near label): Side 1 = XEX 421 1N (also has 1C stamped at 9 O'Clock and RDA stamped at 3 O'Clock) / Side 2 = XEX 422 1N (also has 14 stamped at 9 O'Clock and RGL stamped at 3 O'Clock)
Inner Sleeve - original poly-lined 'use emitex' sleeve in very good condition for its age.
Sleeve: In excellent condition with very minor wear and slight discolouration on rear but still bright and very good for the age of the record. No bends, tears or laminate lift. Very slight ring wear. Spine intact and minimal wear to opening edge. All in all a great sleeve - buyer will not be dissappointed
Vinyl - The vinyl on both sides is in very good ++ - excellent condition - no surface marks (apart from minute scuffs if you really scrutinise) and definitely no scratches. Plays beautifully with great mono sound and minimal background noise (if at all)!
