The Beatles - Please Please Me. Original UK vinyl LP.
It's one of a bunch of Beatles and Stones vinyl that I'm listing today, all with low starting prices - check out my other auctions. If you buy more than one item I'm happy to combine postage and save you money.
Label - Parlophone
Cat No - PMC 1202
Collector stuff: I believe this is the fourth pressing (summer 1963 – January 1964). Black and yellow Parlophone label with silver print.
Label has 'Recording first published 1963'. Label has 'THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD.' starting the rim text. Aldon Music appears as 'Aldon Mus.' on label. Ludix Music Ltd. appears as 'Ludix Mus.' on label.
Sleeve 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd'. Sleeve has 'Photo Angus McBean' printed in the lower right corner. Matrix numbers: XEX 424-1N, XEX 422-1N [a 6 o' clock], RAD [at 3 o'clock both sides]
Condition: VG+.
- Vinyl has a light surface scratches that may cause occasional crackle in quiet parts, but nothing that looks like it would significantly impair playback.
- Sleeve has light scuffing at corners and some creasing near edges. Laminate does not have blistering. Back has discolouration all over and 2 splashes of dark top left.
