THIS RECORD IS THE PRIDE OF MY WHOLE COLLECTION. YOU WILL PROBABLY NEVER SEE A COPY AS OUTSTANDING AS THIS.
I have taken alot of pictures to try and convey the SUPERB quality of the record
You will see from the 2 LABEL PHOTOS that there is hardly a spindle mark to be seen and the actual spindle hole is still black on the inside showing how little this record has been played.
I was very tempted to list the vinyl as NEAR MINT because on initial inspection it certainly looks NEAR MINT .I am however listing it as EXCELLENT PLUS condition with just the VERY Faintest of hairline mark visible when held to strong light.
BOTH SIDES retain the ORIGINAL SUPERB BLACK SHINEY finish as I think the photos show.I cannot emphasise just how good the vinyl looks on both sides
The SOUND QUALITY is just AMAZING with virtual silence between each track. YOU WILL SIMPLY NEVER GET BETTER THAN THIS.
The cover is again REALLY EXCELLENT PLUS condition .It has just the "VERY" slightest wear on each corner but this is really nit picking.On the rear the top right and bottom right corner of the flipbacks have slight creasing marks.I have taken PHOTOS of the back and front so that you can see what I have referred to THE SPINE IS IN "PERFECT" condition
This is one of the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS EVER PRODUCED the proof being the Matrix and stampers BOTH OF WHICH indicate that this was one of the VERY FIRST vinyls to be pressed.
Matrix for side 1 is XEX 421 1N and stampers are 1 & L
Matrix for side 2 is XEX 422 1N and stampers are 1 & O
You will see from the photos of the labels that they have the 1st pressing Dick James publishing credits.
I could go on about the OUTSTANDING CONDITION but hopefully the photos will convey this and my many regular worldwide buyers know that my descriptions are genuine.I think that the proof is in the condition of the spindle holes.
The opportunity to obtain this RARE album in this OUTSTANDING condition will rarely be seen again as most of the very best are already in the hands of major Collectors.
