Description
Hi, this is a VG copy of Revolver. ST-8-2576 released on the Capitol Label , 1966. A few tiny paper scuffs and some light hairlines are to be found on inspection of the vinyl . A lot of light scratches as well. Plays surprising well with noise, but much less noise than I expected. Had one skip during Elenor Rigby early on. Not washed out copy at all. Lots of sheen covered by scratches but the sound quality is great, with light noise. You can still clearly hear bass notes held and all the wonderful details in the music without straining for it. Labels are in some pain. Comes with old plain white inner sleeve. The cover is a VG with some very light ring wear and a couple of corner bumps. All three seams were fortified with some clear tape though never really splitting at all. Please see below for detailed grading of the Vinyl. If you are looking for virtually perfect play without backround noise stay at VG+++ and above. VG++ and lower grades will have corresponding amounts of noise but no skips unless noted, as in if it looks questionable, I'll play it before listing it. Play grading is done on a Denon DP-62L with an H-1000 pre-amp for the cartridge, so it's pretty sensitive. Some noise won't even be heard on some standard systems. If the cover has any damage such as a promo cut or seam split, it will be described. I do combine shipping. Costs are first record, full ship fee or free if offered and 50 cents for each additional. So yes if you buy a record with free shipping, it's only 50 cents per each additional after that.
Grading: Near Mint, Just that, an opened album that is clean with virtually no scuffs.
Near Mint Minus- A few paper scuffs, taken out and played.
VG+++ More than a few paper scuffs, but very close to NM-
VG++ Beginning to have a few light marks/scratches as well. Maybe some occasional backround noise.
VG+ Some light to medium scratches, occasional noise.
VG Medium scratches, some backround noise, maybe even a pop or two. If there is a skip, it will be noted.
VG- Will be played and defects listed, might even have a feelable scratch, will also have to be a HTF or rare pressing.
Good- I will only list rare albums at this grade. I have been buying, trading, collecting and listening to records most of my life and I need more space so some must go. I will describe them as accurately as I can and will be glad to answer any questions about them. Please contact me if there is any reason you don't want to leave positive 5 star feedback.
