This flawless sounding UK 2nd MONO pressing dates from Autumn 1966 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts
The side 2 label has the 'Doctor Robert' spelling & 'KT' purchase tax code
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3
Stamper codes: 6/RLG & 2/RMM
Vinyl weight: 137g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover & original 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve

Clean & unblemished with just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines from the inner-sleeve & a sparkling rainbow shine beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp. Tough to upgrade this.
Sound Quality: MINT
A rare flawless sounding copy where all tracks are totally free from any groove/playwear distortion. Even the delicate and most often worn tracks 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There and Everywhere' play flawlessly with no background crackle or noise which blight so many copies of this pressing. You will not find a better sounding 1966 mono copy
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An exceptionally clean & unworn example with an immaculate bright-white front panel which retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel with just three small spine and no 'thumbnails' wrinkles
All corners are square and free from bumps or bruising and both opening edges are sharp & unworn
The exposed rear panel is pristine with no ringwear and all flipbacks are clean & fully intact
Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is fully worded
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & white with the albums' title discreetly written in tiny letter in the rear upper left corner
- Our grading is strict & conservative grading in strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- Each record is professionally & securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
