Hello and welcome to one of my listings. Primarily I am a collector however from time to time I like to offer items from my collection. I grade very strictly, using the UK Record Grading system- both play grading and visual grading are used, Visual grading is based on inspection under both normal and extreme bright light, as you will see from my feedback I do normally get this right! Description: The early ‘wide spine’ sleeves to these mono and stereo pressings of this famous album were quickly withdrawn after it was found that they took up far too much room when delivered to the music retailers, so it was only the first and most early copies that received covers with this almost book like format, with subsequent pressings receiving the far more common thinner spined covers. This widespine feature to this early copy is slightly rarer in stereo than its mono counterpart this one too is a nice solid respectable example complete with its red and white inner and card cut.

Condition;
Disc: Excellent Minus: A nice clean copy which harbours no serious or offending marks, under bright light just a few light hairlines become visable on both sides however this is certainly a MUCH better than average example. Play as expected is unworn and sharp sounding, certainly judging by the labels this copy has only recieved a number of careful plays (NOT played to death!) some intermitent background occasionally imbetween tracks.
Sleeve: Very Good/ Very Good Plus : A solid example of this rarer earlier sleeve- light shelf wear evident along with slight squashing to the spine however overall a still very presentable copy and better than average. (see pictures).
Labels: Excellent: Both labels are in beautiful condition, free of any wear/ names/ stickers; both boast only a moderate amount of light spindle trails each side.
Inner: Excellent minus: Unspilt and relatively unworn with just some slight discoluration.
Cut Out Sheet: Excellent Plus: Original darker earlier variation.
I aim to provide the most honest and accurate grading to ALL of my records. All records are graded to the highest and most strict standards in accordance with the guide set by the UK Record Collectors Guide. Close examination under a bright desk top lamp is used in the grading of vinyl playing surface as well as normal daylight.
UK Record Grading System
Mint:
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condiition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be mint.
Excellent:
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good:
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good:
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc
Fair:
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor:
The record will not play properly due to scratched, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
