Description
Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted.
Grading is based on visual inspection.
Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and 2 MIL poly inner sleeve.
I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.
New and vintage vinyl is hard to grade strictly using eBay’s system because the record and the cover are two different components. Therefore, I call a record new and mint if it is opened but has never been played. I use the grading category to describe the cover condition.
- Based on the matrix run-outs this appears to be a First Pressing of the US stereo version. The album title on one line on the label (see notes below and the photo) is also an indication this is a First Pressing.
- The paper on board gatefold cover has a tight spine, shows a lot of storage wear and there are 2 seam splits.
- The gatefold photo and the original insert are unblemished.
- The original plain paper inner sleeve is faded but has no splits. I have include a soft poly inner sleeve.
- Seller got this new in 1967 in the record store where he worked. It has been in storage for more than 47 years.
