A REALLY SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS 1967 ORIGINAL 1st ISSUE PARLOPHONE 45 SINGLE IN PICTURE SLEEVE.

  Released by Parlophone UK on the 17th February 1967, Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane was yet another No 1 Hit Single for The Beatles. This First Issue UK Vinyl 45 is on the traditional Black and Silver Parlophone Label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd Label rim, with Sold in UK label text and Made in Gt. Britain on both sides of the record label, with the push-out centre variant,  the Vinyl 45 comes in its Original Thin Paper Picture Sleeve and it is understood that only 250,000 of these delicate Paper Picture Sleeves were issued worldwide.

  Both sides of the record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, undamaged record labels with just a couple of play signs.

  The official side 1 matrix is 7XCE 18415-1/Side 2 matrix is 7XCE 18416-2.

  The side 1 stampers are: KT1 M P.  Side 2: KT1 AA.

  There is an embossed KT Tax Code on the centre of the side 1 label.

  Both sides of the Vinyl 45 single are also in very nice Excellent Plus condition, the vinyl surfaces are super clean and bright with just a couple of hairlines.

  This Original UK First Issue Paper Picture Sleeve is in beautiful Excellent Plus condition.  The sleeve shows some inevitable light creasing, there are no tears or seam splits to the sleeve.

  Both sides of the disc play extremely well without faults.

  A beautiful example of this rare Beatles, one of only two original UK picture sleeves to be released.
