A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE, CLEAN ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE, VERY NICE SOLID CENTRE VINYL DISC!!
Released by Parlophone UK in 1967, Strawberry Fields Forever/Penny Lane was a No 1 Hit Single for The Beatles. This First Issue UK Vinyl 45 is on the traditional Black and Silver Parlophone Label, with The Gramophone Co Ltd Label rim, with Sold in UK… label text and Made in Gt. Britain on both sides of the record label, with the solid centre variant, the Vinyl 45 comes in its Original Thin Paper Picture Sleeve and it is understood that only 250,000 of these delicate Paper Picture Sleeves were issued worldwide.
Both sides of the record labels are in superb Excellent Plus condition, undamaged record labels with just light signs of play to each label.
The official side 1 matrix is 7XCE 18415-1/Side 2 matrix is 7XCE 18416-2. The side 1 stampers are: KT1 GMP. Side 2: KT0 GRA.
There is a KT Tax code on the Penny Lane side label.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are also in very nice Excellent Plus condition, the Vinyl is BRIGHT and UNDAMAGED, with no more than a couple of faint surface hairlines.
This Original UK First Issue PICTURE Sleeve is in very nice Excellent Plus to Near Mint condition. The sleeve shows some light inevitable creasing, there are no tears to any part of the sleeve, and NO seam splits.
Both sides of the disc play extremely well without any skips or jumps, just mild background crackle can be heard.
This Picture Sleeve is hard to find in this superb condition, this is one of only two original UK picture sleeves to be released, this release is now 46years old.
