Original 1966 Capitol T-2553. I won't go into the whole story about this item. If you are here looking at this, you know what this is.

Cover

This is absolutely the cleanest second state pasteover that you will find without shrink wrap! It has a hole that goes thru the cover where the word "Tripper" appears on the front cover (see pic). Very very slight age tanning mainly at the insert front & back. Far less than you would expect for a cover of this age. Only the very very slightest hint of ring wear on the back. No corner pushes. No writing. No seam splits. No seam wear. No creases. All of the colors are vibrant & crisp. The spine print is all intact with no signs of wear. The plant number on back is 6 indicating the Los Angeles plant. This is a high end collector grade copy.

Inner Sleeve

"Capitol '66 Sounds Great" orange inner sleeve is completely intact except for a hole in the top right corner that matches the hole in the cover. No seam splits & just a little light creasing at the bottom left corner.

Record & Labels

The record has colorband labels & looks unplayed. Labels are mint.

Inner Sleeve = Mint Minus, with a hole at top right to match hole in cover & a little creasing at bottom left corner

Record = Mint Minus, unplayed with mint labels.

Most LP's have been stored in their album covers in special non scratching, anti-static sleeves and not in the original inner sleeves they were issued with. The original inner sleeves, posters/other items are included unless otherwise noted. All labels are mint unless specified otherwise. I grade visually & I grade very strictly. Standard Goldmine system. The majority of my records were played once for taping (remember cassettes?) or not played at all. With few exceptions, I believe the only truly mint record, or other item, is one that's still sealed. Please ask questions before bidding.

It breaks my heart to part with this item but I have to. This item is in astounding condition. If a sealed copy can be considered a "10" & an open shink wrapped copy can be considered a "9.5" then this item is a "9" out of "10". You simply will not find a cleaner better copy unless you find one with the shrink wrap still intact. Period.
