Description
If you've never heard this album in mono on vinyl, you've never heard it. As John Lennon said "The only way to hear Pepper is in mono." The mix is fuller, and different, than the stereo version. It's WAY more psychedelic. The vocals on Lucy In The Sky are different than the stereo version. They have a different trippy effect, making the song just a little more far out, man!
It's tough to find this album in mono, and it's really tough to find the complete set. Luckily for you, I did all the work!
Jacket grade- VG+++/EX. Very very clean. Usually, the back of Pepper has lots of ring wear. Not this one! No splits or writing either.
Vinyl grade- VG+++/EX. Nice, thick vinyl. A few scuffs that do not affect sound on my turn table. The only bit of crackle I picked up was on She's Leaving Home, and that wasn't really obtrusive. One a 1 to 10 scale, with 10 being super annoying crackle, it was about a 4. This is a very quiet copy.
Inner sleeve- Five inch separation on the bottom and one side
Pepper insert- Slight crease on one side, very minor age wear.
You'll be hard pressed to find a better copy of this album. There's no reserve, either! Get it now before it's gone!
